The WØTLM weekly Tri-Lakes net is a fun, general topic net that is perfect for beginners and old Elmers alike. Friendly, welcoming atmosphere on the air, with knowledgeable participants to help coach newcomers. Broad coverage repeater along the Front Range, from Denver to Pueblo, and most parts east. You may even want to try your skills as Net Control for our net!

Where: NØXLF 2-meter repeater, Palmer Lake on 147.075 MHz, +0.6 MHz offset, 131.8 Hz CTCSS tone. We recommend leaving "Tone Squelch" off.
Backup is KØNR 70-centimeter repeater, Monument, on 447.725 MHz, -5.0 MHz offset, 100.0 Hz CTCSS tone.
Simplex backup to KØNR is 2m simplex channel 147.42 MHz.
Purpose: The general purpose of this net is to provide a meeting place for Tri-Lakes area radio amateurs and to handle traffic for the WØTLM organization. A close secondary purpose is to help local operators develop their on-air skills and to provide educational information to participants about Amateur Radio-related topics.
Participants: All radio amateurs are welcome to check-in. The net provides an opportunity to actively practice formal net operations and procedures in preparation for emergency operations.
Net Control: All amateurs are invited to take a turn as net control for the Tri-Lakes net. It’s easy, fun, and great practice! Participate in a few nets first, review the information linked below, and when you’re ready to sign up for a Monday night with our Net Manager, Stephen KZØQ.
